The Ferraro Group handles public relations campaigns and coordinates special events for many commercial clients, including:

(1) Acciona Solar Power - Since 2005, The Ferraro Group has worked with Acciona Solar Power to promote the groundbreaking and grand opening of the 64-MW Nevada Solar One facility in the Eldorado Valley. Through The Ferraro Group's efforts, Nevada Solar One has been featured on more than 50 broadcast, print and online outlets including NBC Nightly News, The Today Show, FOX News, CNN, NPR News, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Economist, Forbes Magazine, Bloomberg News and National Geographic. NSO has been also been featured regionally and locally in the San Francisco Chronicle, Arizona Republic, the Arizona Star, Las Vegas Sun, Las Vegas Review-Journal, Las Vegas Business Press, Las Vegas City-Life and Las Vegas' KVBC-TV Channel 3.

(2) Dunkin' Donuts - The Ferraro Group handled the PR for the Southern Nevada launch of this famous baked goods and coffee chain. Following the opening of Southern Nevada's first Dunkin' Donuts location, the chain announced that the restaurant set a new opening week sales record, making Las Vegas home to the most successful store opening in their 57-year history. The new store broke the record for first-day sales by 16 percent and broke the record for first-week sales by 41 percent.

(3) Elton's - Recently named one of Las Vegas' Retailers of the Year, this men's designer clothing retailer has locations in The Shoppes in The Palazzo and Mandalay Place, with collections that include Diesel, Hugo Boss, Donald Pliner, Mark Nason, Scott Kay, The Great China Wall and Robert Graham. The Ferraro Group has garnered coverage for Elton's in publications throughout Las Vegas and has coordinated on-site marketing opportunities.

(4) FLEXA Furniture - This Danish-based children's furniture company offers modular beds and accessories for toddlers to teens that are colorful, functional and flexible. Building furniture from its own Russian forest which gets replenished, the business has been branded as a “green” company that offers a multitude of options to its customers. Since late 2008, Flexa has been profiled in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, In Business Las Vegas, the View newspapers, on TV news, and has an upcoming segment on the Oxygen channel. We have not only handled media relations for the business, but have also spearheaded charity involvement endeavors and campaigns to garner additional recognition. Among them are a pajama drive for Child Haven over the holidays, and most recently, we are coordinating a “Generation Green” art contest among local students. The art work will be judged and displayed in the store, with the top three winners receiving store gifts.

Entertainment

Among entertainment clients and events The Ferraro Group has overseen are:

(1) Dunkin' Donuts - As the agency of record for local franchisees of the Dunkin' Donuts brand, The Ferraro Group currently manages the community awareness and giving campaigns that include grand opening events for each of the more than 20 new Dunkin' Donuts locations in Southern Nevada. To date, grand opening events have included $40,000 in donations to various local charities, attendance by mayors and other dignitaries from Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson, as well as partnered efforts with Boyd Gaming and the Freemont Street Experience.

(2) Las Vegas International Beer Festival - An annual festival of music, food and an assortment of brews from around the world, the Las Vegas International Beer Festival contracted with us each year to provide pre-event coverage to promote the event, as well as provide media relations at the festival. Pre-event coverage focused on vendor samplings, cooking demonstrations and beer samplings to increase awareness of the event.

(3) The National Cowboy Poetry Gathering - Started in 1985 by a small group of folklorists and poets, The Gathering has become an annual ritual for thousands of people who value and practice the artistic traditions of the region, and are concerned about the present and future of the West. In celebration of its 25th Anniversary, The Ferraro Group has spent a year producing shows all over the West Coast to promote the Elko Gathering, helping introduce new audiences to a tradition that has never ceased to be a part of the lives of cowboys, ranchers and rural westerners.

(4) Edgewood Tahoe Celebrity Golf Tournament - Since 2005, The Ferraro Group has produced and managed a key hospitality tent at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship at Edgewood Tahoe. During the three-day tournament, the Park Cattle Company hospitality tent serves more than 750 guests, including celebrities, political dignitaries and business leaders.

Gaming

The Ferraro Group has represented the trade association for Nevada gaming companies for more than 15 years. Through public affairs and public relations efforts, many casino resorts in Nevada have depended on our services through:

(1) The Nevada Resort Association (NRA), the primary advocacy voice for Nevada's gaming and resort industry.

 

 

 

 

Hospitality

The Ferraro Group handles public relations campaigns and special events for many clients in the hospitality industry with great results. Among past and current clients are:

(1) Platinum Hotel & Spa - An off-Strip, non-gaming, non-smoking 17-floor hotel property in Las Vegas, Platinum Hotel & Spa appeals to business travelers, families, tourists and locals. The Ferraro Group provided public relations to position and promoted the 255-suite hotel, as well as its meeting spaces, Well Spa, Kilowat restaurant and Stir cocktail lounge. We garnered media coverage in local, national and international markets

(2) Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Located within the new Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino, Morels was recently named one of the top 10 restaurants in Las Vegas. Morels offers a new dining experience in Las Vegas, merging steak with other unique culinary aspects, including an iced seafood bar, a cheese and charcuterie bar with more than 30 farmhouse and artisanal cheeses from around the world. We have coordinated numerous media interviews and stories, as well as Palazzo on-site promotional endeavors and marketing opportunities.

(3) Valentino Las Vegas - This Italian restaurant offers a world-class dining experience yielding culinary delights paired with an award-winning wine cellar. Established in 1998 inside the Venetian Resort and Casino on the world famous Las Vegas Strip, Valentino Las Vegas has been a client of The Ferraro Group's since 2004. Among our PR efforts, we have coordinated an extensive amount of media coverage, promoted cooking classes, and expanded our reach to target locals through dining cards and specials.

(4) Nevada Commission on Tourism- While serving as the President at R&R Partners, Mr. Ferraro was involved in the public relations and advertising campaign strategy for the Nevada Commission on Tourism for more than 10 years.

Real Estate

The Ferraro Group handles public relations campaigns and coordinates special events for a number of developers and real estate-related corporations. Among them are:

(1) Applied Analysis - Since 2002, The Ferraro Group has helped position Applied Analysis Principals Jeremy Aguero and Brian Gordon as experts in the Southern Nevada real estate markets. Promoting the company's quarterly commercial market reports, The Ferraro Group has garnered nationwide coverage of Applied Analysis in noted business publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times and The Street.

(2) Blue Heron Properties - This luxury homebuilder entered the Southern Nevada market five years ago. Our firm has had steady success in branding the Blue Heron name locally and that of its principals, including Stephen Jones, who built the New American Home and won a top award at a past International Builder's Show and was called the create the New American Home for the 2009 show in Las Vegas. We garnered a vast amount of publicity for the firm's first project, loft homes in the west part of the valley called Stone Canyon Luxury Loft Homes. We also coordinated the firm's groundbreaking events, direct mail campaigns in front of business leaders, speaking engagements, and have recommended associations/organizations for them to join.

(3) EJM Development - An industrial developer with offices in Arizona, Utah, California and Nevada, the local office contracted with us several years ago to coordinate its local advertising efforts and press opportunities. EJM's ad campaigns have helped brand its name as a leader in industrial development, thank its tenants and real estate brokers, and promote its new projects. Aside from numerous articles EJM has been featured in, we coordinated a major groundbreaking event during the ICSC conference for EJM's mixed-use 400-plus acre development called “The Arroyo” and have coordinated panel discussions and speaking engagements for EJM executives to brand them as experts and their developments as top-notch projects.

(4) Astoria Homes - For nearly seven years, our firm handled all of Astoria's media relations including stories in the homebuilder trade publications and local home-buying publications, their quarterly newsletter stories, ghost-written columns, homeowner testimonials. We also assisted them with nominations for various business and homebuilding awards.

(5) CORE Construction - Our firm guided CORE Construction through an image change in 2003, when the company changed its name from Target General Inc. to CORE Construction. We helped to position the company as a leader in commercial construction in the Las Vegas Valley. Additionally, we led the company through a marketing campaign to transition the general contractor perception as a public project builder to that of a full-service contractor and construction management provider for both public and private commercial projects in Southern Nevada.

(6) Las Ventanas - Located in Summerlin, Las Ventanas is Nevada's only life care retirement community. The Ferraro Group provides public relations for the 17-acre community, which hosts apartments and villas, a fitness center, swimming pool, library, game room, arts studio, salon, cyber café and meeting space, as well as La Paloma Restaurant. Public relations focuses on the unique services offered by Las Ventanas and the financial and medical benefits of life care, as well as the stories of a diverse range of community residents and community giving efforts of the company.

(7) Park Cattle Company - One of Nevada's oldest companies, Park Cattle Company owns and operates 5,000 acres of ranch land in the Carson Valley, 500 acres at South Lake Tahoe that includes the Edgewood Golf Course, Edgewood Water Company, acreage beneath the Horizon Hotel-Casino, Harvey's and Montbleu, as well as numerous undeveloped parcels and pristine beachfront. Since 2005, The Ferraro Group has been helping Park Cattle Company reposition itself as an active stakeholder in the economic and environmental debates confronting communities in the Carson Valley, Stateline and northern Nevada.
